Dive Site Inchkeith Wreck at Havelock Island

Inchkeith Wreck

In March 1995, the cargo ship SS Inchkeith, carrying coal and timber, hit a rock and sank near Duncan Islands inlet. Today it is a popular dive site with a mysterious vibe due to its lower visibility. The ship's bow rests on its side, with hatches and cargo hold still visible. The stern sits upright at a depth of 18 meters (60 feet), featuring a huge propeller that attracts divers. The wreck is covered with colorful anemones, corals, scorpion fish, and cleaner shrimp. Occasionally giant groupers and barracudas appear, adding to the site’s allure.
